« New website | Revolution Deformation, exhibition view »
And so I have been painting.
Revolution Deformation is an exhibition of 20 original paintings, alongside prints and animation.
A 32-page exhibition catalog further explores the visual theme of the work.
Revolution Deformation
November 6 – December 21
Concrete Hermit
5a Club Row
London, UK
The work incorporates ideas and visual themes developed over the past few years, while I was working in design and animation. Exploring the subjects of transition, transformation and broken memory, the images linger between being recognizable and abstract. The so-called container character central to the theme of “Revolution Deformation“, is Jesus. Not the Son of God, but a small cartoon character previously dubbed ‘Badboy Lensflare – the albino in a wheelchair’. Jesus is an anamorphic figure that lends itself to the projection of ideas, and can withstand the intuitive process of painting, without losing its own features.

Hello Fons,
I like very much your work, specially the backgrounds of “Kika and Bob”, but I think your paintings of Deformation Revolution are very interesting, I have remembered Francis Bacon.
Congratulation for your work.
