Methods of production shows a male artist filmed in various studios throughout his career. The videos capture several performances where he’s seen using an inventive device (a painting helmet) to create expressive abstract works.
In the fourth video the artist is shot twice by an unknown visitor. The statement in the video makes clear that while struggling for his life, he continued to create artworks with his own blood. The works from this last performance, are what is considered his most personal and (implied) his most valuable.
